Susanna Richert Duerksen

Not sure when or where this photo was taken. This is my great-grandmother. She's the mother of my grandmother Mary (Duerksen) Wiebe. She and her husband were born in present day Ukraine.

Susanna C.W. Richert married Abraham D. Duerksen on 25 May 1890 in Korn, Oklahoma.

Thelma Jean Duerksen, the daughter of Abraham J  and Clara Duerksen who died in 1922.

She was one year, four months and eight days old. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 from the Christian church, with Rev.Stevens officiating. Burial will be made in the local cemetery. The North Platte semi-weekly tribune., August 25, 1922
