Postcards from Dad

You can click on each picture and it will enlarge so you can read it. These are post cards my great-grandfather wrote to his son.
The post card below is in Russian or German. Written by my great-grandfather in 1947. I have no idea what it says. Wish someone could translate it for me.

Duerksen Sermon

Below is a sermon that I had scanned into my computer and am not sure where the original is located. However, knowing that I treasure these old tokens of my family history I am quite sure it is stored away either in a ceder chest or another safe place. I hope to find it one day soon to see what other words are on the rest of the pages.
